The friendly club for the over fifties
Greenhill Senior Citizen’s Club was first formed in the 1960’s and is now a registered charity. In 2003 the old building was partially demolished and, through donations and fundraising, the present building was erected.
The club is owned and run by the members, for the members to provide facilities and companionship to help combat loneliness. Guests over 18 are very welcome to attend any of the activities and events (space permitting) but Membership is only available for people aged over 50 who attend 1 or more of our daily activities.
We are open Monday to Friday for regular daily activities, such as Kurling, Darts, Bingo, Carpet Bowls, Crib, Sequence Dancing, Line Dancing and Table Tennis. We also have Whist and a Singalong session once a month. We have a very busy Social Diary with afternoon and evening social events held on Saturdays. Coach trips and holidays are arranged throughout the year.
